Bodrum Promotion Foundation was founded in 1996 by Recai Çakır,
Ali Yılmaz Işıkçı, Gürsel Yenice, Süleyman Demir, Fikret Recai Doğan, Şahin Ali Birer, Alptekin Polat, Ali Haydar Gökçe, Cem Ersan, İsmail Mete Can, Mehmet Sedat Alpaslan, Hüseyin Kaftanoğlu, Ahmet Salih Bicer, Mustafa Mümtaz Göztepe and Hakan Oba as the promotional power of the city of Bodrum with its thousands of years of history, fascinating and natural beauties like the tomb of King Mausolus, listed as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and which has always been an impressive place throughout the world history being defined by the legendary poet Homer as “the Land of Eternal Blues.” Bodrum Promotion Foundation contributes significantly to the tourism revenues of Bodrum with its promotional activities and international fair organizations, which it has carried out for the past 27 years.
